Amman

We took minibus from Wadi Musa to Amman then a taxi to the hostel. It was tiring to negotiate for bus and taxi prices. We then had a nice lunch/dinner, walked around Amman city center, bought fruits, took showers, and then walked up hill to the famous Rainbow Street for “night life” (rather disappointing). The Rainbow St is a cobblestone street of a European feel that is populated with small antique stores, clothing, restaurants, cafes, bars, sheesha tea shops.

After learning that Israel closes its border to all, we decided to cut short our trips and fly to  our separate homes. I am concerned that more countries will follow Israel’s lock down restrictions, so I am flying back to DC from AMM to avoid getting stuck in another country. I am flying from Jordan via Qatar to IAD, so Trump’s EU ban has no effect on my return flights. See you after 3/17 in DC, my friends.
