34-hr in Amman Airport
I couldn’t believe that I camped in the landslide of this airport for 34 hours, to pursue a failed attempt to get on the same fright one day earlier. Unfortunately, all seats were sold out, so I slept on the floor over an artificial silk liner (clean yet cold) for 5 hours. I am grateful that I escaped the Jordanian lockdown from 3/17 and the Qatar lockdown from 3/18, while many travelers are trapped in the countries. Keep my finger crossed that USA will not lock me out on 3/17.
I was so sick of the bread I have been eating for 2 days, yet I got free hot water from the airside Starbucks for my instant cup noodles. Soon I can relax in the plane to enjoy food, drink, and movies during the flights, and maybe a shower and sleep in Doha.
