Flying out of Taiwan

My last day in Taiwan started with fried cake fritters (燒餅油條)and pineapple Sugar apple (鳯梨釋迦)， finished up dental implants, travel chat with dentist Sunny Hu over coffee and a ride on her Tesla Model S to airport metro. We may team together to travel in East part of the South America.











Bye to all my friends in Taiwan, I am flying to Egypt after three flights and 24 hrs. See you next time. You bet that I will wear face mask all the way, especially transfers via Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. BTW, I tasted Mt. Jade sorghum wine (玉山高樑）and woolon tea （凍頂烏龍茶）and strolled via the e-library and green space inthe first terminal to kill time.

Egypt 埃及 -  Jordan 約旦   I booked my flight into Lebanon in late February 2020, and had been monitoring the regional safety. The protests since October 2019 continues in Lebanon, but life continues there as well.  The outbreak of  coronavirus caused Beirut  Hostel cancelled my reservation,   so I took advantage of American Airlines ' free cancellation flights via Hong Kong offer and  re-booked  flights into Egypt. Basically, I reversed my travel direction from hot areas into colder areas and skipped  Lebanon. The Israeli lockdown triggered a domino effect, so I cut short my tep and came back to USA. 1st flight with Qatar Airlines

Enjoying Qatar Airlines free on board WiFi. Feel like a VIP, although feeling blood bleeding when seeing the Dow index tanking... The dinner was chicken rice with white wine. Live post from the sky. Qatar services are the best so far as I have experienced with different airlines. Their planes are new and spacious, and they treat economy customers as good as other airlines business class except the seat size. The fly attendant came back after meal service with champion I requested plus snacks. One friend later told me that Qatar Airways treatment of their employees is absolutely horrid, verging on human rights violations. I didn’t know then.  Even if I knew, I would have to fly with Qatar because “I just want to go home” quoted from movie Jumanji. BTW, it costed me only 40,000 American Airlines frequent flyer miles plus $100 to fly from Amman to IAD.

2nd raining day in Amman

It was another raining day so we had breakfast at the Jordanian Royal family favorite Hashim restaurant for the third time, and then killed time in the City Mall. The mail still had plenty of tissue paper for sale. Unknown to us, a county lockdown snowball is coming to us.
